This is one of the sessions I was looking forward to all year.  One of my friends from high school contacted me through facebook to take family pictures for her family.  The only problem was that she lives in Kuwait!  So while visiting her family in the states this fall, she and her husband decided to have a layover in NYC for a few days so I could come down and take pictures.  I was so excited and honored that they would plan their schedules so we could make pictures happen 🙂

Then hurricane Sandy hit a few days before she was coming to town, 🙁  Alot of people thought I was crazy to still consider going down there, but we didn’t let that stop the session, like I said we had been planning this for months!  Thanks to great friends with updates on NYC, the cancellation of the NY marathon and a full tank of gas I got there safely and we were able to get the pictures done (even despite the fact that the sun set an hour early because I forgot to consider day light savings, eek!).

And can I say these cute little 20month old twins kept me on my toes, I had so much fun running around and playing in the leaves with them.  Central Park was so beautiful and I am so happy that there were still leaves on the trees after the hurricane!  So thank you Rasha for making this happen, it was so wonderful seeing you again, enjoy this little sneak peek of pictures, I can’t wait to show you the rest!
