I had a friend tell me that if you wipe dyer cloths over your skin that mosquitos would stay away from you. Now maybe this will work in some circumstances but let me tell you it didn’t work this day 🙂 But that could be that it was 100 degrees, 100% humidity, July, and at a nature preserve near the river. It was sort of a mosquito heaven and we were the perfect hosts!
BUT those pesky little buggers didn’t stop us, and this family were great sports. We got some beautiful and fun images, especially of little Alexander who turned 1. He is such a sweet snuggly little guy, who can talk better than my 18 month old, ha! We even celebrated at the end of the evening with a little cake smash, Alexander wasn’t sure about it at first but Daddy helped him smash it and that made it more fun! A little bumblebee even enjoyed the show (see if you can find him!)
